Financial Compliance Advisor
Description
Supports the assessment process for internal controls over financial reporting of FedEx and its operating companies as required by Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 (SOX 404). Prepares overall SOX 404 training strategy and leads training sessions for FedEx companies. Works with accounting and finance management to review key internal controls and ensure the controls are properly documented and tested in accordance with FedEx policies and procedures. Prepares and makes regular SOX 404 and various financial reporting presentations to accounting and finance management teams. Compiles, analyzes and prepares financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in finance or accounting.
- Master’s Degree and/or CPA preferred.
- Five years’ experience in public accounting or the accounting department at a public company.
- Strong internal controls, financial reporting and general accounting.
- Strong organizational, project leadership and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications: CPA License, SOX experience, Ability to evaluate control logic, system configurations, and completeness/accuracy of system-generated reports used in control execution. This position may be eligible for relocation.

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN or Plano, TX. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
