Flight Training Sched
Description
Job Duties
Builds and maintains the flight training schedule for instructors, check airman, students, and line pilots in compliance with the federal aviation regulations (FARs), collective bargaining agreement (CBA), flight operations training manual (FOTM), advanced qualification program (AQP), and internal departmental policy and procedure with optimal resource utilization as a primary goal using automated flight training scheduling systems.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in aviation or related field.
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years related experience in a flight operations environment including eighteen (18) months of flight training/crew scheduling.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of federal aviation regulations required. Knowledge of computerized crew management and flight training systems required. Knowledge of the operation of a personal computer & its applications required. Knowledge of statistics and basic math preferred. Strong organizational and communications skills required. Knowledge of the pilot collective bargaining agreement (CBA), flight ops training manual (FOTM), and advanced qualification program (AQP) preferred.
Job Conditions
Available to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
