Full Stack Developer III

Description

Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.

Special Requirements

Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. The position requires experience with: Design and implement automated tests based upon business requirements; Experience with modern Object-oriented programming language (Ex: Java, C#, C++); Lean agile/extreme programming methodologies; SaaS (Software as a Service) integration of cloud-based applications; Angular/Ionic, Android, HTML; Development toolset enabling Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) such as IntelliJ, Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, ServiceNow, Github, Nexus, Jenkins, Cloudbees, Azure Kubernetes; Upgrading existing frameworks used by the application so that application is safe from any security vulnerabilities; Debugging programs, finding the root cause of issue (such as memory management or any exception handing missed during development), fixes the defect, redeploys the application, and validates that the defect, is fixed. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements.
