Global Customs Brokerage Product Advisor
Description
Overview:
- With minimal supervision, provides strategic product development and tactical sales support for global customs brokerage.
- Provides strategic product development direction by evaluating market research and analysis into product solutions.
- Determines pricing and proper marketing for new products.
- Represents FedEx Trade Networks in cross OpCo relationships and initiatives.
- Provides tactical support to sales by responding to RFQ’s, creating customized pricing, and participating in sales calls, in support of global development and growth.
- Ensures that sales has the proper tools needed to successfully sell all global customs brokerage products.
- Assists with account level profitability reviews and service level agreements.
- Provide strategical input on the opening of new clearance facilities.
- Work with marketing to determine new brokerage service offerings, how to offer it, market it and price it. Supports the operational roll out of the new features of service and work with GHC (Global Harmonized Clearance) to keep all product offerings aligned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in Business Administration College business degree or equivalent business experience required.
- Five years of sales, marketing or operations experience required.
- Individual customs broker's license preferred.
- Ability to function at a global level in a multi-cultural environment, to work with corporate support staff in remote locations, to interact between stations and sales, all of which will be needed to provide pricing and sales support.
- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of team members, up to and including senior management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, teammates, customers, and the general public.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (using pivot tables), Microsoft Powerpoint.
- Some travel required.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: 4,330K - 9,082K Monthly
