Global Security Intern (Summer 2026)
Description
As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.
This position will work directly with our Global Security Strategic Programs Office, who is responsible for internal departmental communications, policy and procedure writing, SharePoint design and creation, culture initiatives, departmental metrics, finances, and overall program management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills, experience with Microsoft Office 365/Copilot preferred (emphasis on above average SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel). The successful candidate will be responsible for department communication, aiding in SOP/Policy editing/creation, project management, executive level briefs, etc
Essential Functions
Interns will learn about all aspects of marketing and communications work
Our interns work on real-world projects that range from developing new products and managing corporate initiatives to designing content to promote the FedEx brand.
Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Degree: Currently enrolled in aBachelor’s degree program such as Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, User Experience & Interaction Design, Master of Design, Anthropology, Design Methods, Creative Design, Human Computer Interaction, Advertising, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Product Management, Sports Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Communications or other related major.
Minimum experience
No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Pay Transparency:
Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.
