Global Vehicle Comm Center Agt
Description
Handles routine and emergency calls from within and outside of FedEx, and dispatch the appropriate personnel.
Essential Functions
Records all calls and update access database.
Runs needed reports, track call trends.
Schedules mobile crews at efficient locations to be able to respond to calls.
Monitors radio calls and telephones and transfer as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years related ramp or dispatch experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of ramp locations (slides and door locations).
Proficient in use of PC (Microsoft word and excel).
Ability to work busy office situation with multiple dispatches and phone calls.
Excellent human relations and communications skills.
Job Conditions
Ability to complete appropriate training.
Ability to work multiple and varying shifts based on business needs.
