Grants Administrator
Description
As part of FedEx Cares, supports cash grants, in-kind shipping, and executive requests. Key duties include monitoring emails, managing grant processing, processing invoices, resolving payment issues, verifying tax status, updating grant payments, approving volunteer events, and providing administrative support as needed.

Provides administrative support for the cash and in-kind grant programs.

Additional Information
The Grants Administrator provides administrative support for cash and in-kind shipping and is responsible for charitable grant processing and executive requests support. Responsibilities include the following:
Manage grant processing through SmartSimple and FCF including vendor maintenance/set-up and updating status of forecast and accrual spreadsheets
Process cash and in-kind invoices for payment
Research and resolve cash and in-kind payment issues
Send monthly in-kind update emails to charitable account holders
Update grant payments in SmartSimple via weekly download from ESEM and upload to SmartSimple
Monitor Employee Giving and FedEx Cares email inboxes and respond to requests
Open and process physical mail
Manage executive request intake and distribution including logging and uploading documents into grants management system (SmartSimple) and assigning requests
Upload and distribute tax receipts
Approve volunteer events and order promotional items for events
Complete Giving by the Numbers monthly report
Provide additional administrative support as needed, including managing team supply orders (coffee, paper, etc.) and coordinating scheduling for larger meetings.
Minimum Education
Associate's Degree/equivalent in finance, accounting, or related area of business.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years experience in a clerical administrative support role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Intermediate proficiency with automated office systems, including word processing, spreadsheets (like Microsoft Excel) and data base management programs.
Understanding of business practices such as accounts payable/receivable, contract management and budget administration.
Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize time sensitive information.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven task prioritization and efficient workflow management; accurate adherence to job aids and SOPs; sound judgment with a willingness to seek clarification; strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving; and the ability to work independently post-training with ownership of responsibilities.
Pay Transparency:
Pay: Memphis Transparency Pay Range: $21.14/hr - $29.59/hr (SH25)
Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
