Under minimal direction, acts as department lead in performing duties necessary to the delivery of best practice HR strategies and programs within their area of expertise.


Position Summary:

Under minimal direction, the HR Strategic Advisor acts as a lead in performing duties necessary to deliver best practice HR strategies and programs within their area of expertise. This role involves strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of HR initiatives to align with FedEx's corporate goals and ensure a productive, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

◦ Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.

◦ Conduct regular assessments of HR programs to ensure alignment with corporate vision and operational goals.

Program Management:

◦ Oversee the execution of HR programs, ensuring they are delivered effectively and efficiently.

◦ Measure the success of HR programs and make recommendations for improvements.

Communication Strategies:

◦ Assist in planning and executing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and information dissemination.

◦ Collaborate with internal teams to craft messaging that supports organizational changes and initiatives.

Compliance and Best Practices:

◦ Ensure adherence to corporate HR policies, legal requirements, and best practices in all HR activities.

◦ Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, advising the organization on necessary adjustments.

Employee Relations and Development:

◦ Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on matters related to employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

◦ Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.

◦ Gather facts and information regarding alleged policy/rule violations and employee issues/concerns and help bring to resolution

Data Analysis and Reporting:

◦ Utilize HR analytics to inform strategic decisions and track the impact of HR initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

◦ Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure HR strategies are integrated with business needs.

◦ Act as a liaison between HR and other departments to facilitate collaboration and alignment.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

◦ Identify opportunities for innovation in HR processes and practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

◦ Promote a culture of feedback and continuous learning within the HR team.

Additional Tasks:

• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.

• Mentor and provide guidance to other HR team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a strategic advisory or leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with HR information systems and data analytics tools.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related function.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years directly related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong organization, planning, human relations, analytical, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:  

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: US pay range: $7,094.23 - $12,533.14 monthly
