INC033: Apprentice, Finance

Description

• The Accounts & Finance Apprentice will support day-to-day finance and accounting operations under supervision, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Assist in basic accounting activities including data entry, verification, and record maintenance.
• Support processing of vendor invoices and coordination with operations teams for invoice validation.
• Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including follow-ups and reconciliations.
• Help prepare and maintain expense statements, trackers, and supporting documentation.
• Support bank, ledger, and vendor reconciliations under guidance.
• Assist in uploading and maintaining documents in finance systems and shared repositories.
• Support month-end activities such as report preparation and data validation.
• Assist in statutory compliance documentation and audit support, as required.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, HR, FINOPS) for finance-related queries.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information at all times.
• Perform additional finance-related tasks as assigned by the team.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

Academic:

• General Graduate or Diploma holder in Logistics Management is preferable

Experience & knowledge:

• Good command of written and spoken English, local language

Attribute:

• Hardworking, able to work independently
• Detail-oriented
• Good communication skills
