Industrial Engineer

Base location: Warsaw

Responsibilities

  • Planning of linehaul movements in the Central European and European Road Network in the CEE planning area (PL, UA, BY, RU)
  • Planning and coordination of linehaul schedule and routing changes with linehaul operations (LOC), HUB- and Ground Operations, as well as various country and central Planning & Engineering functions (HUB P&E, Field P&E, central Road Network P&E)
  • Data maintenance for the linehaul operational systems ROCS, TRIP, OSC, and WWSM
  • Planning and support of various network projects (network changes, improvement of performance and service quality, strategic planning) as SME in cross-functional projects
  • Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed
  • Analysis of data for network and service performance
  • Cross-functional communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders, like e.g. other central and local planning functions, and the operational Management of HUBs, stations and the linehaul network
  • Planning and support of continuous improvement of service, performance and costs in the linehaul network
  • Monitor and support the development of operational KPI reports
  • Present project development and results to upper management

 

Qualification

  • University degree, preferably in logistics, industrial engineering, business management with logistic focus or similar quantitative disciplines, OR equivalent extended planning and/or operational experience in the logistics or linehaul business
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Cross-functional and innovative thinking, willingness to learn, personal self-development and adaptability
  • Strong at setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track progress
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Good communicator and presenter with working proficiency in English and German
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (up to 20%)
  • Driving license
