We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Insider Threat Analyst to join our Insider Threat Management team. This role is responsible for detecting, investigating, and mitigating cyber and insider driven risks across the organization. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise to conduct Tier 1 level analysis to monitor for internal risks by triaging real-time behavior alerts to differentiate between normal employee activity and high-risk threats. You will be responsible for conducting preliminary investigations into suspicious events, such as unauthorized data access or data exfiltration, while maintaining meticulous documentation in our platform and escalating verified incidents to senior investigators Tier 2 / Tier 3. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement by providing feedback to tune detection tools and minimize false positives.

What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Insider Threat Analyst to join our Insider Threat Management team. This role is responsible for detecting, investigating, and mitigating cyber threats and insider driven risks across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong foundational technical expertise with behavioral analysis monitoring to perform the initial triage of alerts and escalate as necessary with relevant evidence to the next level. Additionally, support the development of the insider threat indicators based on policy violations and behavior varying from baseline. Support on-going continuous improvement by providing feedback to tune detection tools to minimize false positives.


Threat Detection & Monitoring

  • Lead initial triage for monitoring and analysis of security events across SIEM, UEBA, EDR, DLP, ITM and identity platforms.
  • Frontline behavioral investigator monitoring real-time indicators of concern to distinguish between benign employee actions and high-risk intent.

Insider Threat Program Support

  • Provide observation feedback in support of detection logic tuning for insider threat indicators, anomalous user behavior, and early-stage activity.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders like HR, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Security as needed to support investigations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive cases with professionalism and discretion.

Security Engineering & Automation

  • Provide feedback and work with engineering teams to improve detection pipelines, automate investigative workflows, and enhance visibility across the environment.

What do you bring with you:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in insider threat, cyber security operations, or digital forensics.
  • Solid understanding of attacker TTPs, insider threat frameworks, and behavioral analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM (eg: XSIAM, Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, DLP, ITM and identity security tools.
  • Proficiency in log analysis, network forensics, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to manage sensitive investigations with confidentiality and sound judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH, GCTI, GCFA, CCSP) are highly desirable.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in insider threat programs (CERT Insider Threat, NITTF, or similar frameworks).
  • Background in behavioral analytics, psychology, or human centric risk analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong ethical mindset and commitment to responsible monitoring practices.
