Description

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Essential Functions

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree: Business Degree or related discipline.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work productivity and productively, both independently and as a part of a team.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications: Interest in international trade, customs brokerage, logistics, and global supply chain operations. Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Copilot preferred. Support business operations through research, reporting, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with teams to analyze workflows, improve efficiency, and support international trade and logistics projects.

Immigration sponsorship is not available for intern positions. Sponsorship may be available for full-time, exempt positions depending on the role and federal regulations. Sponsorship is never guaranteed. This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, with employees required to work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius or be willing to relocate.

Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduate students and $30/hour for graduate students. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship experience.

Additional Details: Summer 2027 Internship: June 7–August 13, 2027. Must be available to work 40 hours/week for 10 weeks. The desired location is Memphis, TN. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
