As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.
Essential Functions
- Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
- Participate in various networking and/or community service events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva
- Knowledge and experience developing marketing and digital content
- Knowledge and experience with design thinking
- Knowledge of user experience with websites and interfaces
- Consulting, project management, or strategy experience
- Ideally, plans to graduate within 12 months of completing the internship and available for full-time entry level employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Intern will assist with the development of projects, programs, and applications for the FedEx Sales teams as well as work across departments to assist with current initiatives to increase Sales efficiency.
- The successful candidate may assist with research, analysis, recommendations, and prioritization of Corporate Sales initiatives including education, communication, events, programs, and processes. Responsibilities may include project management, research and report development, analytics, documenting processes/procedures and recommending process improvements.
Minimum Education
Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Degree: Business Degree or related discipline.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work productivity and productively, both independently and as a part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. The internship is based in Memphis. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles.
