Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Location:S Perry Rd Plainfield IN
Inventory Cycle Counter II – with Forklift
The Inventory Cycle Counter II performs daily, weekly, and monthly inventory cycle counts and compares results to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to verify quantity, location, and part number accuracy. This role also conducts bin validations and annual physical inventories per customer contract.
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize RF devices to perform physical inventory cycle counts.
- Cycle count serialized and non-serialized electronic devices and accessories.
- Cycle count raw materials to assess availability for electronic repairs and prevent over-purchasing or shortages.
- Compare bin contents to WMS data to identify discrepancies.
- Research and resolve discrepancies identified during cycle counts.
- Perform safety checks for equipment including forklift, order picker, scissor lift, and VNA.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with two-digit numbers and larger values.
- Count up to 1,000 and perform operations using units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
- Apply common sense understanding to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations.
- Create and distribute daily cycle count reports to operations management.
- Train and assist team members as required.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System.
- 3 years of experience performing cycle counts.
- 1 year of forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to train and certify on warehouse equipment within 60 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
