IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisor

Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisor supports Information Security governance, risk management, and compliance processes.
Essential Functions
- Designs, develops, and implements complex management/compliance programs for high impact third party vendor initiatives.
- Monitors and reports internal compliance against external regulations and industry standards.
- Independently performs risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet enterprise-wide information requirements.
- Provides recommendations to highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions.
- Leads the planning, testing, and reporting of onsite vendor reviews.
- Leads brainstorming and development of recommendations for highly complex initiative recommending best methods and enterprises improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training.
Minimum Education
Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information security or governance risk and compliance environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be detail orientated and have good organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Vendor risk background
- Experience with BI Publisher
- Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence
