Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across the organization. Provides technical expertise in network operations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
2. Monitor network performance and implement improvements to optimize reliability and throughput.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
4. Assist in network capacity planning and scalability initiatives.
5. Implement and maintain network security measures in compliance with organizational standards.
6. Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on projects and technology upgrades.
7. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for operational continuity.
8. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Pay Range: $74,814.00 - $141,847.00 per year
Colorado Pay Ranges: Colorado Springs, Grand Junction $80,050 - $126,479; Henderson, Mead $84,538 - $133,571; Gypsum $89,777 - $141,847
Illinois Pay Ranges: Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford, Aurora $80,050 - $126,479; Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit-Argo, Zion, Buffalo $89,777 - $141,847
New York Pay Ranges: Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $80,050 - $126,479; Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $89,777 - $141,847
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in network engineering or administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), LAN/WAN technologies, and network security principles.
• Experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware and software (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
JOB CONDITIONS:
• Some travel required
• On-call support for critical network incidents as needed.
