IT SOX Compliance Advisor
Description
Under minimal supervision, supports Financial Compliance governance, risk, and compliance processes as it relates to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
Essential Functions:
Monitors and reports internal SOX compliance against external regulations and industry standards.
Independently performs risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet regulatory and legal information technology SOX compliance requirements.
Provides recommendations to highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions.
Collaborating with SOX external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Preparing SOX compliance-related documentation and reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training. Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or governance risk and compliance environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry standards
Detail oriented with strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: Project Management, Audit Knowledge, Analytical Skills, Internal Controls, SOX, HIPAA, Compliance, Logical Access, Data Quality
