Description

Knowledge Curator is primarily responsible for the health, velocity, and integrity of the organization’s knowledge management methodology, technological systems, and user adoption. The Knowledge Curator plays a critical role in knowledge management, increasing productivity through knowledge management methodology and technology

  • Collect knowledge from various external and internal resources and submissions from end-users that is timely, relevant, and provides knowledge management benefits
  • Manage the knowledge management information technology including interacting with systems, categorizing and structuring knowledge records through taxonomy and other methods, managing and creating machine learning rules, managing and refreshing taxonomy, and developing technology enhancements and new functionality (integrating AI tools into knowledge management systems, for example)
  • Curation of the content of the knowledge library.  Continually verifying and updating knowledge records to ensure the library is current, accurate, and relevant.  Introducing new and updated records into the knowledge library while removing obsolete records.  Ensures accuracy of knowledge records while eliminating and correcting incorrect, incomplete, and contradictory records
  • Manage end-user experience when utilizing knowledge management systems.  Continually improve user interface and search capabilities.  Collaborate with end-users on system usability and experience enhancements.  Select and highlight the most relevant and valuable knowledge for specific audiences and business needs.  Manage appropriate access to knowledge management systems
  • Develop new and custom workflow functionality based on end-user needs.  Develop requirements, develop solutions, test, and implement custom functionality to continually improve knowledge management methods and technology
  • Partner with knowledge management third-party vendors to maintain the systems, develop new functionality, and maintain business relationships.  Manage contracts, addendums, scope of work, and invoices
  • Develop and execute training and support for knowledge management methodologies and system interactions.  Provide daily support to existing users while expanding knowledge management system implementation and knowledge management best practices to new audiences.  Be a knowledge management “champion” in the organization 
  • Research, develop, and implement future knowledge management systems as needed.  Manage new technologies, new products (internal and external) to continually improve knowledge management throughout the organization   

Minimum Education

 Bachelor's Degree or six years of experience in related field

 
Minimum Experience

 
Two (2) years technology or corporate legal experience required.  

 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 
Strong technical knowledge, library, and legal acumen.  

 
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.  

 
Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver information sessions to groups and/or individuals. 

 
Project management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. 

 
Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.


Preferred Qualifications: Oversees legal knowledge content management, ensuring accuracy and relevancy across platforms. Acts as central liaison for knowledge systems and framework development. Evaluates and updates articles, emails, and submissions. Requires experience in knowledge management systems, employment law, litigation, legal operations, and the creation and maintenance of job aids.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $6,168.90/month - $13,571.58 /month

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in either Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN.
