Description
Involves the completion of basic administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities , despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
Under close guidance completes the following activities:
• Support and schedule loading/unloading processes for trucks and other vehicles
• Release vehicles for pick-up and delivery;
• Monitor and participate in the organization of the work environment;
• Update warehouse, pick-up and delivery reports and enter/update information in internal transport systems;
• Participate in dedicated operations and monitor the performance of specific customers;
• Execute activities related to issue pre-alerts, execute administrative activities, generate reports and collect operational data to support the update of KPIs.
• Execute activities related to indoor and outdoor risk management and communicate pending issues to the Security sector;
• Answers phones, transfers calls, and takes messages as required.
• Prepares paperwork for outbound packages (airways bills, PO Box, and address).
• Assists customers by answering questions on basic features of service.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent. Proficiency in English
Valid Drivers License and good driving record.
Experience: None to One (0-1) year clerical experience
Skills:
• Data entry, and/or general office skills.
