Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiary to ensure effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws. Responsible for developing, implementing and managing programs designed to ensure compliance with the FedEx Freight Code of Conduct and corporate policies and procedures. Provide support to FedEx Freight and its subsidiary in connection with compliance training, communications, policy development, gifts and entertainment and conflicts of interest.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge and experience with multinational corporate compliance programs, including codes of conduct, antitrust, gifts and entertainment and conflicts of interest
• Knowledge and experience with developing compliance program training and communications
• Excellent organizational, communications, project management and human relations skills
Lead Counsel - Compliance
• Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the Bar plus twelve (12) years’ experience as an attorney with at least one (1) year of FedEx Experience and three (3) years’ of experience practicing law with an emphasis on legal compliance
• Knowledge and experience with enterprise risk management and/or compliance risk assessment programs
Sr Counsel – Compliance
• Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the Bar plus ten (10) years’ experience practicing law with an emphasis on legal compliance
• Knowledge and experience with enterprise risk management and/or compliance risk assessment programs
Sr Attorney-Compliance
• Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the Bar plus six (6) years’ experience practicing law with an emphasis on legal compliance
WORKING CONDITIONS:
