What you will be doing:
For a multinational company operating in the transportation sector, we are looking for a Legal Counsel with proven experience in Labor Relations.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Counsel Italy and will be responsible for managing legal matters in the employment law area, supporting the business in both strategic and operational decisions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on employment law matters (both individual and collective) to support HR and management
Manage employment litigation and coordinate external law firms where necessary
Support extraordinary transactions (reorganizations, restructurings) from a labor law perspective
Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, collective agreements, and company policies
Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and industrial relations regulations
Handle disciplinary procedures, dismissals, and workforce reduction processes
What do you bring with you:
Law degree and admission to the Bar
5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law gained in reputable law firms or corporate environments
In-depth knowledge of Italian employment law
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Strong business orientation and ability to work independently
Experience in handling/supporting management of labor relations and companies’ reorganization
Nice to have:
Experience in multinational environments
Knowledge of additional European jurisdictions
Knowledge of other languages

Pay transparency: the Gross Annual Salary (RAL) for this role starts at 65K euros gross per year, plus bonus and an interesting benefits package. This figure represents the minimum of the salary range established for the position. The financial offer may therefore increase based on several factors, including professional experience, technical skills, educational background, soft skills, attitude, and how well the profile aligns with the responsibilities and objectives of the role.
