Description
"Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities , despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
Lead or senior levels of these positions may:
• Handle escalated or more complex issues,
• Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff,
• Support supervisor or manager activities,
• Support the design, review and implementation of processes and procedure"
General job description:
Under limited guidance completes the following activities:
• Enters airway bills into system on a daily basis.
• Performs daily entry of Time Cards information into PC.
• Handles D/T packages and informs customers of payment.
• Gathers information for different company reports.
• Answers phones, transfers calls, and takes messages as required.
• Prepares paperwork for outbound packages (airways bills, PO Box, and address).
• Assists customers by answering questions on basic features of service.
• Performs miscellaneous typing, filing, and secretarial duties. Organize and update station files.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
• High School diploma
• Proficiency in English (450 TOEIC points)
Minimum Experience:
• Three (3) years clerical experience
• Valid Drivers License and good driving record
Minimum Required Skills:
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 15Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Good human relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
