LM040: In-House Service Agent

General Job Description:
Under general supervision perform the following activities:
• Involves performing a variety of customer service and administrative In-House duties to support efficient clearance process; responds to a customer’s needs regarding clearance paperwork, tracing of shipments, identification of problems, and resolution through available information or transfer to source; and requires direct and indirect customer interface.
• Ensures customer information is properly documented and entered into the system on a timely basis.
• Types or otherwise prepares various operations and customer’s reports.
• Ensures all shipments are manifested, and if they are not, then reports them to the responsible area.
• Audits all records and files as assigned to compile all necessary data.
• Handles customers with non-document packages in cage.
• Provides current package status updates and basic follow-up activity, monitors shipment movement, and interprets COSMOS global scan updates.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
• High School Degree/Equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (450 TOEIC points).
Minimum Experience:
• Previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment.
Minimum Required Skills:
• Average general office skills required including typing, filing, and computer programs.
• Good communication and human relations skills.
• Clear and articulate speaking voice.
• Clean cut and neat appearance.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Spoken and written fluency in English as well as local language.
• Ability to work various shifts.
