Description
"Involves providing administrative/clerical and professional support for HR department regarding personnel, benefits and labor processes.
Lead or senior levels of these positions may:
• Handle escalated or more complex issues,
• Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff,
• Support supervisor or manager activities,
• Support the design, review and implementation of processes and procedures."
General job description
Under limited guidance, perform the following activities:
• Processes and maintains controls of HR programs and benefits (i.e. tuition reimbursement, pantry allowance, etc.).
• Compiles and reports statistical data regarding usage of HR programs and benefits.
• Serves as a liaison between benefit providers and HR Representatives on day to day inquires on their paperwork.
• Supports HRIS functions, People Soft, Requisition Control.
• Compiles and reports employee data regarding special projects.
• Maintains employee's benefits’ records and communicates with Payroll any required deductions from employees’ pay.
• Assist management in the administration of Human Resources paperwork (I.E. Prism forms, salary exceptions, etc.).
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's degree in administration, Business or Psychology.
• Fluent in English.
Minimum Experience:
• Five (5) years clerical related experience, which includes at least two years in a benefits environment, preferably at FedEx.
Minimum Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of word processors, spreadsheet and other applications (Word, Excel, etc.), highly preferred.
• Good organization and communication skills.
