LM397: Financial Systems Analyst
Description
Involves completing detailed analysis of complex data, systems or ideas and providing reports and recommendations. May also involve day-to-day data management in company software applications.
General Job Description:
Under limited supervision performs the following activities:
• Leads or supports analysis of systems and process impacts for the implementation of Regulatory project, Fiscal e-Invoicing solutions, and changes to existing regulatory and reporting compliance systems.
• Reports status to Regulatory Program PMO and works with Product Owners and other Financials System Analysts to ensure accuracy of system changes.
• Tests solutions and reports system testing results to the Regulatory agile team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's degree/equivalent, preferably in MIS, business, computer science, or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
• At least four (4) years' experience in technical analysis and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of PC's, networking, and peripheral devices.
• Experience with accessing and processing data and/or similar data mining tools, i.e. SQL.
• Experience working as part of an Agile team including various Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience with backlog creation of features and user stories.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Minimum Required Skills:
• Oral & written English language skills.
• Ability to analyze business operations and develop automated solutions.
• Attention to detail, focus on root-cause analysis, analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication and listening skills.
• Ability to prioritize and plan work based on multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Problem Solving Skills, Presentation Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Judgement & Decision Making Skills.
Position will cover regulatory requirements and government mandates for eInvoicing for(LAC, Canada, and US).
