Description

The Senior Manager for GCS Operations will lead and oversee the management of the Mexico-based Global Capability Centres (GCCs), with a primary base in Mexico D.F.. This role is a leadership position responsible for the strategic, cultural, and operational well-being of the sites, serving as the key representative of the Mexico operations within the broader global organization.

This individual will act as the operational face of the GCC in Mexico—partnering closely with Data & Technology, HR, Finance, Facilities Planning & Engineering, and Global Operations teams to enable scale, velocity, and innovation."

Site leadership and governance
• Serve as a senior representative of the organization in Mexico, acting as the face of the company for internal teams, local government authorities, universities, industry forums, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all GCC locations in Mexico are operated in alignment with corporate policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Administrative & Operational Oversight
• Manage site operations, including facilities, health and safety, security, business continuity planning, and vendor relationships.
• Lead site-wide initiatives such as real estate planning, infrastructure expansion, and sustainability goals.

People, Culture & Engagement
• Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with global values.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to drive local engagement strategies, talent branding, and retention initiatives.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to support demand management and infrastructure readiness.

Strategic Influence
• Act as a key advisor to global leaders on Mexico-related opportunities, risks, and trends.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to influence decisions related to Mexico’s talent strategy, site development, and strategic priorities.
• Strategic oversight for the capabilities in Mexico in partnership with the business.

Risk & Compliance Management
• Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements including compliance, corporate governance, and data protection standards.
• Support internal and external audit requirements as needed.

Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity overseeing multi-site or country-level operations.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale administrative functions in a complex, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican regulatory, labour, and corporate governance landscape.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively across global teams.
• Experience in managing senior-level stakeholder relationships and leading through change.
• Prior experience in managing GCCs or capability center setups for global MNCs.
• Demonstrated commitment to DEI, sustainability, and community engagement.
• Strong understanding of Mexico’s business and talent landscape.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
