LM475: Marketing Specialist
Description
We are looking for an enthusiast Marketing Specialist to join the LAC Retail Marketing team.
This position will be key to support the FedEx Authorized Ship Centers and all the activities to make this important LAC group of partners perform operationally, administrative, and in terms of revenue and volume. This position will track performance as well as implement initiatives to keep course, encourage training and bring more packages through this network. This position must take lead, negotiate, be hands on and have analytical and social skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Four (4) years professional marketing or sales working experience in a corporate environment, of which two (2) years, must be in marketing, preferably. International Marketing experience is preferred. Desktop publishing skills (Office). Proficiency in English. Must have experience in franchises and/or retail. Used to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have some experience working with customers, vendors and partnerships. Must support develop the business, negotiate and problem solve for the FASCs.
This position must be proficient in presentations to high level management. This is an international position so proficiency in English, written and spoken, is a must.
Should have strong analytical skills, this position elaborates monthly reports and tracks performance of the overall network of +1,000 FASCs in LAC. Must have inter-personal skills to work with cross functional teams across the globe. Will work closely with Retail Operations, Customer Experience, Legal and Sales.
Highly organized and follow up mindset. Must have complete control and organization of the contracts, renewals as well as payments to the FASCs. Administrative paperwork and activities are part of the daily responsibilities, as well as operational tasks to support the partners.
Should report and deploy campaigns & initiatives, both internal and external. This position leads monthly meetings to internal and external stakeholders. This position's KPIs will be measured by incremental volume and revenue.
This position’s main functions:
Marketing Activities:
o Marketing Plan execution for FASCs for the region
o Leading advertising and media agencies (experience creating briefs)
o Campaign and promotion execution (internal and external)
o Events elaboration
o Communication strategy, content and material development
o Branding
Data and Analytics:
o Performance management of the FASCs throughout the region
o KPI accomplishments and definition of activities to increase performance
o Sets measurements and develops dashboards
o Supports setting campaign goals
o Campaign performance- Reporting and Monitoring
o Monthly reports to main FASCs
o Business Intelligence: Desk research of competition (pricing and campaigns)
o Reports, analyses and sets Metrics and KPIs
Process and Optimization:
o Contract management
o FASC opening process follow up with sales
o Handling Fees payment and control
o Scouting and store visits
Project Management:
o Budgeting
o Marketing Plan development
The candidate must be eligible to work and based in Mexico.
This position will report to the LAC Retail Marketing Manager.
