To provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with international, country, state, and local laws._x000D_

Provides legal review, advice, and direction to international customers; drafts and reviews legal documents and also reviews proposed transactions to ensure maximum benefit to the corporation and minimum exposure to risk; and structures, negotiates, and drafts legal and financial documents. Acts as primary legal department contact for outside attorney communications on assigned projects/issues. Provides input to other members of the legal department, upon request, with respect to area of expertise. Assists Sr. Attorney’s in the department regarding complex legal matters. Conducts Research and prepares memoranda relating to these areas. Plans, coordinates, and implements legal activities relating to signification corporate programs. Monitors and interprets shifts and trends in government and legislative policies at the federal, state, local, or international level. Determines company impact and advises Senior Management accordingly. Participates in the planning phase of various company products, services, and projects and assists in plotting a course of action that balances the company’s goals with legal. May act as co-counsel in significant litigation on behalf of the company and participates in drafting court documents, taking depositions and other discoveries, formulating trial strategies, and trying the case. Reviews company policies and procedures as assigned and provides legal advice as to their compliance with applicable laws. Evaluates legal issues involved in claims by or against the company and determines the appropriateness of litigation or settlement.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and admissions to the bar. Superior academic record. Six (6) years legal experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in corporate law, contract, or international law. Experience in regulatory, finance, and international law preferred. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills. Fluency in English and local language required.
