Description
To plan, develop, organize, and deliver a broad range of human resources in an international business environment aligning the services and programs with strategic business objectives and needs; to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees in matrix area according to human resources policies, procedures, best practices, and overall corporate philosophy._x000D_

Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a staff of exempt and non exempt employees and administers an annual operating budget. Designs and delivers a broad range of human resources services including, but not limited to, recruitment, training, management development, employee/labor relations, safety HR systems, and/or compensation and benefits for country, district, region, and/or division management in support of strategic business goals. Directs the development of local best practices and policy communication systems to ensure compliance with local legal requirements, clear understanding on the part of management and employees, and consistency with the spirit and intent of division and corporate philosophy. Conducts through analysis of employee information and ensures the dissemination of timely, accurate, and complete information, as appropriate, about employee performance and productivity on the job. Consults with division management and provides policy interpretation related to a broad spectrum of human resources disciplines including employee/labor relations, training, compensation, benefits, and safety. Negotiates contract services with vendors for outsourced activities such as recruitment, course development, insurance, competitive market analysis, and human resources systems.. Maintains current knowledge of applicable local laws, regulations, labor agreements, and industry trends as related to support to us and international locations. Contributes to the establishment and implementation of divisional human resources strategies and plans.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent. Five (5) years of related professional or management experience including at least two (2) years professional experience directly related to Human Resources. Professional HR accreditation preferred Strong knowledge of international HR practices and FedEx business practice preferred. Strong human relations, management and communication skills. Fluency in English and/or Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
