Description

This position will interact with local air Carriers and different vendors partners through an effective communication to guarantee the highest service performance, and alignment with the agreed cost and service parameters.  The AC will take the responsibility of assisting with ad-hoc duties requested by the Miami based Transport Networks Development dpt, as well as clerical activities, but not limited to administration of documents, reports, while keeping them up to date and accurate. The AC will assist supporting day to day GPN activities making sure customer’s needs are aligned with service purchased, while continue pursuing to exceed customer service expectations, through a constructive and professional relationships with carriers & agents that allow GPN network perform as designed while also bring opportunities of improvement and expansion.

Provide daily interaction with FedEx ramps and local airlines to execution, coordinate, talk with team of tactical and contingency plans to minimize supply chain disruption. Maintain service levels in all routes through capacity management and oversee booking process between FedEx and airlines/carriers/vendors. Coordinate routing and capacity distribution with FedEx ramps. Prepares documentation, perform data entry, shipment tracking and tracing, and issue airway bills, as well as organizing documentation and shipping records accurately in a timely manner. Communicates on a daily basis with airlines, vendors, trucking companies, customers, warehouse contacts, sales representatives and overseas offices where necessary and provides assistance to the invoice reconciliation dept. as needed. Verify weights and dimensions of cargo, keeping records of findings and advise clients concerning terms of delivery, air services, transport alternatives etc. Handle requirements for any dangerous or controlled goods and ensure that the proper export controlled permits and licenses needed are included. Validates DG acceptance and limitations with the carriers/airlines/vendors/trucking and identify and addresses any service issues with the respective airline/carrier/vendor. Handle Adhoc / Spot quotes booking requests and work closely with FedEx operations teams to ensure all CLH required processes (pre-alerts, security, Customs procedures, GTP, VISA, etc) are executed accordingly. Perform CLH flight schedules reviews with FedEx ramp operations teams. Supports the development of SOPs and regional customers service solutions as required. Measure airlines/vendor/carriers service performance to support IRF/GPN network expansion in collaboration with other regions.


•Strong customer service skills, problem solving capabilities, able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to meet numerous deadlines.
• Dangerous good certification recommended. Desirable basic English proficiency. Valid driver’s license and any necessary training. Fluent in English, with other local language(s) desirable (Spanish and/or Portuguese). High School Degree/Equivalent - Three (3) to four (4) years of experience interacting with airlines, carriers, vendors or both, also imports and exports groups.
