Description
Involves the completion of basic administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities and local customer service.
General Job Description:
Under close guidance completes the following activities:
• Scanning and sorting impo and expo packages
• Support and schedule loading/unloading processes for trucks and other vehicles
• Release vehicles for pick-up and delivery;
• Monitor and participate in the organization of the work environment;
• Update warehouse, pick-up and delivery reports and enter/update information in internal transport systems;
• Participate in dedicated operations and monitor the performance of specific customers;
• Execute activities related to issue pre-alerts, execute administrative activities, generate reports and collect operational data to support the update of KPIs.
• Execute activities related to indoor and outdoor risk management and communicate pending issues to the Security sector;
• Answers emails as required.
• Prepares/Check paperwork for inbound and outbound packages (airways bills and address).
• Assists customers by answering questions on basic features of service.
• Transfers and accepts freight to/from the airlines.
•Operates forklift to move freight.
• Support load captain task when required
• Ensures the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
High school diploma/equivalent. Basic English skills preferred
Valid Drivers License (C1 or C2) and good driving record.
Minimum Experience: One year ops/clerical experience
Minimum Required Skills:
• Ability to lift up to 25 kgs (men) & 12.5 kgs (women) and to maneuver packages with more weight with appropriate equipment
• Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Data entry, and/or general office skills.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
