LO340: Accounting & Controls Specialist-Senior

Description

Involves the application of specialist knowledge which may include providing specialist advice to employees, management or customers, managing or maintaining systems or processes
or completing projects to develop or changing systems or processes as appropriate.

As the position moves toward Senior level, incumbents will increasingly:
• Work on activities with higher impact and/or complexity,
• Have a broader geographical scope from regional, to divisional and corporate level,
• Have more regular contact with senior or executive management,
• Complete tasks independently, without guidance,
• Support or coordinate peers within department or deliver training to internal customers,
• Initiate and lead projects, including cross functional projects.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under limited supervision, performs the following activities:
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, implementing and maintaining internal controls, and supporting financial reporting processes. This role requires a  strong foundation in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Specific functions include:
Accounting & Finance International: Purchase to Pay; Record to Report; Invoice Process; Purchase Orders; General Ledger; US GAAP
• May perform other activities as assigned

Minimum Requirements
Minimum education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
• English proficiency Preferred

Minimum Experience
• Five (5) year' experience in finance and related fields.
