Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on turning numbers into narratives?
FedEx is on an exciting growth journey across Sub-Saharan Africa, and we are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to become an integral part of our team.
In this role, you will act as a technical expert on complex data and specialist subjects. You will support management by analyzing, interpreting, and applying complex information to directly impact divisional and corporate goals. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Insight: Translate complex data sets into growth narratives that the business can actively pursue, driving vision, strategic planning, and strategic forecasting.
Technical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert across a broad spectrum of commercial functions, including Customer Analytics, Marketing Operations, Research, Pricing, and Product/Solution Development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Brand & Advertising, Communications (Internal & External), and Customer Experience Design to drive unified business strategies.
Project Leadership: Actively lead or support high-impact projects by applying your analytical expertise, taking initiatives from conception to execution proactively.
Management Support: Provide leadership and management with clear, actionable insights and recommendations derived from deep-dive data interpretation.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in a business analytics or consulting background.
The Consultant Mindset: Proven ability to look beyond raw data and transform numerical insights into compelling, strategic growth narratives for senior stakeholders.
Mindset: A self-starter with high autonomy, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where ambiguity is viewed as an opportunity to create a new path.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills Required
Advanced Excel: Expert-level proficiency (complex modeling, advanced formulas, and data manipulation).
Power BI: Strong expertise in data visualization, including building, designing, and publishing dynamic dashboards.
