GENERAL SUMMARY:
Direct a team of managers and professionals that plan, organize, direct, and control the Accounting and Controllership functions for the enterprise. Ensures that the internal control structure related to accounting and financial statement balances are fairly reported.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead a team of professionals and managers including selection, education, development, motivation, providing strategic direction.
Ensure that all financial data used or released by the corporation, as it relates to the functional areas of responsibility and legal entities is accurate and timely.
Conducts monthly closing meetings with Accounting and Financial managers to ensure accuracy and complete understanding of monthly results. Participates in monthly closing meetings with the regional leadership and Corporate Controller’s team to review results and provide explanations on results as well as any anomalies.
Oversees statutory audit and regulatory reporting functions to ensure timely completion of audits and regulatory report findings as well as compliance with local standards.
Participates and/or leads project teams with the goal to improve internal processes, including collaboration with the Enterprise Business Solutions and Data and Technology teams on automation and system solutions.
Maintains compliance with SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, Local Country GAAP, and IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 (SOX) requirements.
Develop and maintain systems and processes that improve the internal controls of the corporation and provide periodic internal control certifications.
Utilize data to pro-actively and objectively monitor and address internal related control concerns and opportunities.
Establish and maintain a “culture of exceptional compliance” through on-going education, effective relationship building and collaboration with leadership and functional compliance champions.
Contribute to, develop and execute strategic initiatives as determined by CBS leadership
Perform other duties as assigned

YOU WILL BE A GOOD FIT :
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from India or equivalent certifications from accredited accounting institutions in major countries in the world
Significant related experience in accounting and/or auditing, and contract systems.
Knowledge of data processing systems, accounting terms, and processes & procedures.
Exposure to foreign statutory accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong management, human relations and communication skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
Verbal and written fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience at Manager or higher level.
