Manage enterprise-wide retirement plans that are administered and/or coordinated through the retirement service department.
Essential Functions
- Manage enterprise-wide retirement plans that are administered and/or coordinated through the retirement service department.
- Plans and implement the organization's retirement benefit strategy, including plan design, employee education, communication and policy development so outcomes meet current and future business needs and are consistent with the organization's workforce management strategies.
- Responsible for proper governance and compliance structure for retirement plans, including risk management, process controls, contribution and payment reconciliation, data management, legal and regulatory compliance, reporting and service delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments (legal, data, payroll, finance) to ensure effective plan management.
- Select and manage ongoing relationship with external consultants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience administering large, complex benefit plans with strong understanding of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations, and PBGC requirements
- Familiarity with pension administration platforms and HRIS systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with employees, retirees, executives, auditors, and regulators
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage team, vendors, third-party administrators, actuaries, and internal business partners
- Strong internal controls mindset and experience with data validation, reconciliation, and risk management
- Experience with plan mergers, acquisitions, freezes, or de-risking initiatives
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business or a related field.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) years experience in employee benefit plans administration, with a thorough understanding of external regulatory and governance environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven management experience with strong planning, analytical, human relation and communications skills.

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. This position is not eligible for relocation.
