Description
This job is in the Digital Marketing department. Leads a group of designers or operate as the design leader across multiple pods. Ensures consistency in design practices, fosters cross-team collaboration, and delivers a unified experience across a product line or capability area. Grows the design team and shapes its impact across the business.
Essential Functions
Manages or mentors designers working across multiple product squads.
Owns design vision and execution quality across a product line.
Drives consistency across flows, systems, and patterns.
Creates feedback loops across design, product, and engineering.
Partners with product leadership to align roadmap and experience strategy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in UX/product design, with a demonstrated history of working on strategic platform-level projects.
Proven experience leading design efforts across multiple teams or complex workstreams.
Experience operating effectively in large, matrixed organizations or enterprise environments.
A strong portfolio showcasing your leadership in designing thoughtful, scalable solutions to complex user problems.
Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or complex system design is a strong plus.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. In lieu of a degree, nine (9) years of practical experience may offset education requirements.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years in UX/product design with deep platform or strategic experience. Experience leading design across multiple teams or workstreams. Experience operating in matrixed orgs or enterprise environments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong ability to coach designers and uplevel team capability. Portfolio of thoughtful, scalable solutions to complex problems. Strong grasp of information architecture and interaction models.
Job Conditions
Some business travel may be required.

Additional Details: This position is eligible for telecommuting and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories. Depending on your location you may be required to work at a FedEx campus several times a week.
