Manager Financial Compliance
Description
Manages the annual assessment of internal controls over financial reporting required under Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, including: annual risk based scoping of business processes; oversight of internal controls and business processes in place at FedEx OpCos, including annual training to employees; oversight of audit and control testing methodology for information technology general controls; consultation with external public auditors throughout the annual SOX 404 audit. Also responsible for management of additional compliance, financial reporting and accounting projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in accounting or finance related field.
CPA preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in audit or closely related area.
Strong background in audit theory, methodology and testing.
Public accounting experience in this area is preferred.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Extensive project management skills.
Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Project Management skills and/or experience, Financial Compliance experience, IT Compliance experience.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $7,521.48 USD Monthly - $15,042.95 USD Monthly
Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week. This position may be eligible for relocation.
