Job Description Summary:
- Manages a worldwide aviation and regulatory security program.
- Ensures FedEx is compliant with TSA, or other regulatory bodies, security programs.
- Represents FedEx when engaging the TSA Headquarters, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and industry associations or councils.
Essential Functions:
- Advises FedEx leadership on Aviation Security regulatory requirements.
- Manages a team of Aviation Security and Regulatory Specialist across the United States.
- Leads the effort for investigations of regulatory non-compliance.
- Represents FedEx with government agencies and on Aviation Security audits and committees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
- Five (5) years’ experience in aviation and regulatory security, TSA experience, or related fields with an emphasis on airline regulatory compliance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Demonstration of a strong understanding of the TSA – Full All Cargo Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (FACAOSSP), applicable programs associated with TSA audits, conducting root cause analysis, and developing corrective action plans, and the TSA Action Plans process.
- Experience ICAO Aviation Security standards and recommended practices.
- Experience with IOSA with background on Aviation Security aspects of the audit processes and applicability to the airline.
- Ability to work closely with governmental agencies and industry associates as it related to aviation security.
- Demonstrated program and/or people leadership. Must hold, or be able to hold, a secret security clearance.
Job Conditions:
- Moderate travel required.
- Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay: $9,064.85/mo - $14,957.01/mo
