General Summary
The role is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of data analytics and reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role bridges business needs and IT capabilities, ensuring scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, labor planning and forecasting, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
- Define and execute BI and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor BI developers, analysts, and data engineers.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data models (Power BI).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into BI solutions.
- Oversee data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and system integrations.
- Implement data governance and quality frameworks.
- Drive adoption of BI tools and data-driven culture.
- Evaluate and implement advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering.
- 4 years in leadership or managerial roles.
- Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, WMS).
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
- Experience with: BI Tools, Databases, ETL Tools, Cloud Platforms.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with data lakes and lakehouse architecture.
- Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Industry experience in Supply Chain, Healthcare, Retail, or Logistics.
