Manager Sales-Freight
Description
Achieves assigned district goals through the effective management of a LTL sales team. Plans, executes and oversees sales activities.
Essential Functions
• Provide daily leadership and guidance in the areas of training, coaching and development within the FedEx Freight Sales organization.
• Call on selected accounts with sales representatives.
• Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of LTL selling experience, or two (2) years sales management experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities considered a plus: LTL leadership experience considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven leadership building, scaling & leading high-performing sales teams from the ground up, Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations & sales experience, managed through change & delivered results in dynamic environments. Logistics background a plus!
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $94,680 - $184,560
Additional Details: Candidate must live within a 50 mile radius of the domicile location in Minneapolis or all surrounding cities.
