Description
We are seeking motivated Corporate Marketing & Communications Interns with a passion for storytelling, digital strategy, AI and data-driven marketing. The ideal candidate brings academic knowledge and practical experience in communications, marketing, and digital media, with a strong interest in leveraging technology and data to enhance marketing outcomes.
As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-changing and dynamic environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Asana
- Knowledge and experience developing marketing and digital content
- Knowledge and experience with design thinking
- Knowledge of user experience with websites and interfaces
- Marketing, consulting, project management, or strategy experience
- Ideally, plans to graduate within 12 months of completing the internship and available for full-time entry level employment.
Immigration sponsorship is not available for the permanent position(s) that could be offered to successful interns who are hired into the Foundations Program as full-time entry level positions but could be available to those graduating with Master’s Degrees and eligible for full-time positions.
Essential Functions
- Interns will learn about all aspects of marketing and communications work
- Our interns work on real-world projects that range from developing new products and managing corporate initiatives to designing content to promote the FedEx brand.
- Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
- Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Degree: Currently enrolled in aBachelor’s degree program such as Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, User Experience & Interaction Design, Master of Design, Anthropology, Design Methods, Creative Design, Human Computer Interaction, Advertising, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Product Management, Sports Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Communications or other related major.
Minimum experience
No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Pay Transparency:
Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.
