Description
Job Duties
Responsible for all inventory-related functions of aircraft parts, tooling and related materials in a warehouse environment. Handle critical aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
One (1) year experience as a parts clerk/warehouse agent or tool room attendant in warehousing or distribution center preferred. Experience in shipping and receiving preferred. Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and reach trucks preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of DOT, FAA, IATA, OSHA & other applicable regulatory requirements including but not limited to shipping, handling, or inspecting dangerous goods or other federally regulated materials preferred. Experience operating company vehicles and material handling equipment; operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and reach trucks preferred. Ability to use Microsoft Office software, good data entry skills, etc. Good human relations and communication skills.
Job Conditions
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver any single container of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must satisfactorily complete all required training. Non-covered safety-sensitive position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
