Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Leads the strategic direction and management of technology solutions supporting fleet maintenance, fleet optimization and facilities management, ensuring assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle to maximize reliability, efficiency and value.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee the delivery, integration and lifecycle management of applications supporting fleet maintenance, fleet optimization and facilities management.
2. Partner with operational and business leaders to align asset management strategies with technology roadmaps and drive adoption across all functional areas.
3. Leverage automation, and performance monitoring to improve asset utilization, maintenance planning, fuel efficiency and facilities operations.
4. Maintain robust system interoperability, data accuracy and security across asset-related platforms to ensure reliable, real-time operational visibility.
5. Oversee modernization of asset management technology, ensuring platforms are current and aligned with enterprise asset strategies.
6. Manage vendor relationships, contracts and platform enhancements to ensure service quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
7. Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals fostering reusability and continuous improvement.
8. Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology solutions to asset management and operational objectives.
9. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, logistics, supply chain management, facilities management or related field
• Minimum of ten (10) years leading technology portfolios or operational systems in asset-intensive industries
• Proven expertise in technology solutions for fleet maintenance, asset tracking, facilities design, and operational optimization
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles, from procurement to retirement
• Strong influencing and communication skills to engage stakeholders and enable cross-functional collaboration.
