Description

The Managing Director of Global Aerospace Logistics will lead and oversee all strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the Aerospace Logistics Services division. This role is responsible for maintaining oversight and providing strategic insight on new business, oversees a team that ensures business objectives are met and fosters strong relationships with customers.

  • Develop and implement the division’s long-term strategic goals and business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and services.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders across the aerospace sector.
  • Drive innovation in logistics processes and technology to enhance performance and competitiveness.
  • Responsible for selecting, training, and developing a staff of 1 to 10 direct reports and 1 to 100 indirect reports.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the division’s P&L of approximately $100m to $300m in annual revenue, budgeting, and financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all international transportation regulations and aerospace industry standards.
  • Mitigate risks and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry customers, ensuring their unique logistics needs are met.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve service delivery and client retention.
  • Provides assistance in identifying specific marketing opportunities and participates in the development of new or modified service offerings.
  • Ensures the development of the revenue customer base; assists sales through customer site visits to secure/retain accounts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


This role requires a visionary leader with 10+ years of experience in the global transportation industry, a deep understanding of aerospace logistics, and a proven ability to drive growth and operational excellence in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Undergraduate degree in business or related field required. Masters degree preferred.

Pay Ranges:

US Pay Range: $138,000.00 - $312,000.00/annually

Dallas, TX Pay Range: $11,500.00 - $ 21,666.67/monthly

Alanta, GA Pay Range: $12,650.00 - $23,833.34/monthly

New York, NY Pay Range: $13,800.00 - $26,000.00/monthly

Los Angeles, CA Pay Range: $13,800.00 - $26,000.00/monthly

Miami, FL Pay Range: $13,800.00 - $26,000.00/monthly

Chicago, IL Pay Range: $13,800.00 - $26,000.00/monthly

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
