Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provides strategic leadership for integration strategy, architecture and platforms within the commercial applications domain, ensuring resilient, secure and seamless connectivity of systems and services across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals fostering reusability and continuous improvement.
2. Define and govern the organization’s integration architecture, ensuring consistent, reusable design standards
3. Lead the selection and management of integration technologies such as Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), event streaming, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
4. Establish governance models and best practices for secure, high-quality integration development and lifecycle management
5. Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to align integration architecture with overall solution strategies
6. Oversee performance, scalability, and security of integration platforms to enable reliable real-time data exchange
7. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
9. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ten (10 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and enterprise systems.
- Strategic planning and execution in IT environments.
- Proven experience designing, implementing and maintaining integration platforms, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and related technologies within complex application landscapes
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead digital transformation and change management initiatives.
- Deep understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.

Additional Details: This position may be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, Harrison, or Dallas. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx campus several times per week.
