Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Direct the international and domestic operations reviews and appraise the system of internal controls, assess corporate strategies and the implementation thereof, as well as the tactical plans for the purpose of identifying opportunities to increase revenues, reduce expenses, improve productivity and service levels
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, motivate, develop, and lead a team of high performing leaders and professionals Plan, organize, direct and control the worldwide internal audit program. Assess the effectiveness with which management carries out their assigned functions Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with business operations Support international expansion through assessment of operations and participation in implementation of recommended improvements, evaluate policies and procedures and test compliance where necessary Perform projects requested by senior and executive management. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance-related field, plus ten (10) years of Accounting, Finance, or Audit experience with five (5) in management capacity
- Knowledge of accounting principles, audit techniques and information systems auditing
- Ability to plan, organize and manage the performance of internal accounting control reviews, profitability improvement studies, acquisition audits, information system audits, policies and procedures reviews and various special projects
- Experience leading complex projects that span multiple business functions
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and enterprise
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, collaboration skills, and presentation skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Hours may vary due to operational need
