Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all efforts related to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure. Provides strategic leadership across multiple IT domains including cloud services, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital transformation. Responsible for strategy execution and operational direction of a business function. Interacts with executive leadership on matters of significance. Manages multiple teams led by managers.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Lead enterprise-wide technology design and deployment initiatives including cloud migration, platform strategy and infrastructure.

Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities to drive scalability, consistency and speed

Establish governance for cloud resource provisioning, cost optimization, security and compliance Partner with application, security and operations teams to enable high-performing, cloud-native solutions

Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery to ensure alignment with business goals. Identify and implement innovative technology solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
•    Eight (8) years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and enterprise systems.
•    Strategic planning and execution in IT environments.
•    Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO), and enterprise architecture.
•    Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets.
•    Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
•    Proven ability to lead digital transformation and change management initiatives.
•    Deep understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.

Additional Details: This position may be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, Harrison, or Dallas.  Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx campus several times per week.
