MD Sales-Freight

Description

To plan, organize, direct, and control activities in support of the Company's sales organization strategies. Achieves revenue goals within an assigned region by driving revenue results through strategic initiatives.

• Experience in recruiting and building a sales organization.
• Excellent human relation and communications skills.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue goals within an assigned region through effective leadership of sales leaders, professionals, and support staff.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and control activities in support of FedEx Freight sales strategies.
• Strong written, verbal, and virtual communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive performance, through a structured approach, with observable methodology and milestones.
• Travel required
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of Sales leadership experience or three (3) years of LTL Sales leadership experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Strong LTL leadership experience a plus.

Proven history of building teams a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Sales leadership experience, LTL experience is preferred

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $13,857- $19,947 per month

Additional Details: The desired location for this position is around Los Angeles, CA. However, other locations within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories will be taken into consideration.
