Mgr Airline Strategic Programs and Business Intelligence
Description
Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and cross-functional coordination across diverse regional and operational domains to enable swift, data-driven decision-making and execution—advancing the airline's operational excellence and ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic leadership for the FedEx Airline domain, serving as a subject matter expert to provide thought leadership and push business leaders to identify opportunities that drive initiative progress and value. You will play a vital role in defining and advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value, ensuring that the right level of rigor and visibility is provided for desired outcomes. You will identify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implications and recommend solutions. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop solutions and influence business decisions using a fact-based approach, take new ideas from concept to execution, and communicate with key stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Lead strategic initiatives across FedEx International & Airline, including the governance of the Tricolor domain, seamless cross-domain alignment, and the launch and integration of the Global Hubs & Ramps domain to drive enterprise-wide cohesion and impact.
Shape IT and digital priorities across FedEx International & Airline , aligning data and technology strategies with evolving business needs, while ensuring scalable, future-ready capabilities that support long-term operational resilience and innovation.
Create business intelligence tools or systems, enabling agility in solutioning.
Collect and analyze business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources, enabling accurate economic analysis and support for recommended actions.
Orchestrate high-impact strategic studies, programs, and special initiatives, including rapid-response efforts within Hubs/Ramps and Airline domains, execution of intensive “Cyclops-style” blitzes, establishment of the enhanced decisioning processes, and leadership of cross-functional forums addressing regulatory, operational, and geopolitical dynamics.
Drive long-term strategic planning, developing integrated 2–5 year roadmaps that align fleet, operational and digital investments, while coordinating enterprise business planning across network, fleet, operations, commercial, and finance functions to ensure unified execution.
Develop, sustain, and embed FedEx International & Airline strategic narrative, ensuring its consistent application across the organization to guide priorities, inspire alignment, and reinforce strategic direction.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, etc.) strongly preferred.
Minimum Experience
10+ years of experience in strategic planning, digital transformation, or enterprise program leadership—ideally within a complex, regulated, and global airline.
Experience with operational planning frameworks (e.g., Demand & Capacity Management, Network/Fleet Ops alignment).
Familiarity with geopolitical analysis, regulatory risk, and enterprise crisis management structures.
Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives, governance structures, and digital alignment strategies.
Deep understanding of enterprise operations, data and technology ecosystems, and organizational change.
Experience working with executive stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership.
