Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Leads the development and curation of data products across customer, shipment, and asset domains to deliver reusable, business-ready insights

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1.    Lead the strategy, roadmap and governance for enterprise data products to ensure alignment with business needs and data standards 
2.    Oversee the design, curation and delivery of datasets and analytics outputs across multiple domains 
3.    Collaborate with business, analytics and engineering teams to prioritize data product initiatives, define success metrics, and monitor adoption and impact 
4.    Ensure all data products comply with governance policies, quality standards, and enterprise data practices 
5.    Monitor adoption, performance, and impact of data products, recommending improvements to maximize value 
6.    Manage, lead, and develop a high-performing data product team, fostering capability growth, adherence to best practices, and continuous improvement 
7.    Perform other duties as assigned 
8.    Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures 
 


QUALIFICATIONS:  

⦁    Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or related field 
⦁    Five (5) years of experience of experience in data product development, data analytics or related functions 
⦁    Proven expertise in designing, building, and operationalizing enterprise data products, datasets, and dashboards 
⦁    Familiarity with modern data platforms including data lakes, relational databases, cloud-based analytics, and business intelligence tools 
⦁    Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management and data quality principles 
⦁    Strategic leadership and oversight skills to guide data product portfolios and initiatives 
⦁    Strong communication and influencing skills to align cross-functional teams on data product priorities 
⦁    Team management and coaching skills to develop and retain high-performing data product professionals
